Come join Southern Hills Baptist Church for a meaningful time of worship during this Easter Season, as we celebrate the life, death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This dramatic service lead by our worship and creative arts teams combines the elements of worship, music, drama, multimedia, lighting and dance. Our service this year will focus on scenes from the life of Christ, including the Last Supper, the Garden, and the death and burial of Christ. We will also have a special focus on the veil of the temple. The Bible tells us that there was a veil in the temple that separated man from where the presence of God resided. The Bible also tells us that at the moment that Christ died that veil was torn in two from top to bottom. This was to symbolize what Christ has done for us in that through Christ’s sacrifice we now have access to relationship with a Holy God. In fact we have direct access. In fact the Bible tells us that for those who know Christ Jesus, that God’s Holy Spirit lives inside of us, the very same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead. That is truly something to Celebrate.
